Futuresource Consulting Team Is At CES 2016

Wireless Audio
At CES 2016 in Las Vegas we are sure to see that wireless connectivity is rapidly becoming a standard fit on a wide range of audio devices. This is a reaction to the consumer demand for both the playout of music from smartphones and from streamed music services such as Spotify.

The Audio Shopper's Journey
The global CES which is held in Las Vegas, will soon be here. So Futuresource Consulting thought that it would be interesting to share its exploration into multi-regional trends in the audio shopper's journey. This study specifically relates to the consumer decision making factors when purchasing Bluetooth or Wi-Fi speakers and headphones. The global sample included over 5,000 respondents across the following countries, the UK, USA, France, Germany and China.

Virtual Reality And Mixed Reality
Innovative, cutting edge technology and what it means to consumer entertainment is always on the forefront of our agenda at Futuresource Consulting and as always we are really excited to have launched our latest 'Virtual Reality (VR) and 'Mixed Reality' (MR) report, especially in the build up to CES in Las Vegas as VR is expected to be a major theme. During and after the holiday season, parents, toy manufacturers and content producers are interested in the shifting leisure time habits of children and how this affects the sales of traditional toys. The study also looks into increased reliance on mobile devices and the continuing shifts in their consumption of entertainment.

Futuresource Webinar
As the Futuresource team gears up for CES and our popular webinar series we wanted to tell you about our plans for the biggest industry event in the CE calendar. Our team of 10 analysts in Las Vegas will comprise specialists in Audio, TV & Video, Wearables and IoT; we will scrutinize the booths, attend all the important press events, and engage in literally hundreds of discussions with industry people during the show.
