Daedalus Audio, ModWright And WyWires AXPONA 2016

 

  Daedalus Audio will be at AXPONA 2016 within the Marketplace with a full head-fi setup to audition the new DiD (Daedalus isolation Devices. They will show their special DiD with the new Tryst tube headphone amp from ModWright and the ModWright Elyse DAC, as well as all WyWires cables including both Blue and Platinum series headphone cables.

Daedalus Audio's DiD ($160 each, $480 for a set of 3) are audio footers that really do make a difference! They are particularly effective under DACs, CD players, and tube amplifiers. For less than the price of a decent power cord these will bring out the full potential of great gear. Dealer inquiries are welcome.

The Chief Engineer at Daedalus Audio has always been skeptical of many audio tweaks and if they are really worth the money. Yet as audiophiles keep pushing the envelope to make recorded music sound 'real', he saw the need to look at every aspect of the signal chain. This is the kind of design philosophy that has the company constantly improving their speakers and investigating every detail that goes into the system. The results of coupling resonance dissipation with vibration control have far exceeded Daedalus Audio's expectations.

The company feels that resonance control is crucial in the design of great speaker systems, and now have applied that knowledge to isolation devices (footers) for components. Their DiD device utilize dissimilar materials to dissipate resonance coupled with bearings to also isolate the electronic component from vibration. They are precision made of highly polished billet aluminum, solid Cherry and brass with steel bearings.
