  Featuring a glorious and tasteful renovated venue, our Rocky Mountain International Audio Fest (RMAF) 2018 show report celebrates 15 years of reporting on the highly popular event. With continued and steady growth, RMAF has become the leading high-end audio fall event in Western America. Once again we have the Rocky Mountain International Audio Fest teaming up with Head-Fi's CanJam event! Audio gear from large reference speakers to the smallest in-ear monitors could be experienced at the show.

RMAF 2018 was held at the Denver Marriott Tech Center Hotel from October 5th through the 7th. This very special 15th Annual Rocky Mountain International Audio Fest (RMAF) is the largest consumer audio and home entertainment show within the Mid-West United States. Denver's own audio wonderland featured over 160 exhibit spaces representing more than 400 companies from North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

RMAF is proud to announce that 2018 marks their fourth year of their Entry Level Room series. RMAF donates these rooms free of charge to a host of exhibitors who offer new innovative products at a reasonable price for people looking to enter the high-end market. There were five rooms again this year. Each room featured a loudspeaker and headphone system. The price point for these are rooms are: $500, $1000, $1500, $2500 and $5000.

Rocky Mountain International HiFi Press Awards (RIHPA)
The RIHPA are the high-end audio industry's first world-wide press awards honoring high-end audio manufacturers -- the Oscars of the audio industry. With its prestigious address, the recently renovated Denver Marriott Tech Center hotel offered an unbeatable location to combine with its outstanding meeting and event space, business-friendly amenities and exceptional service. 

Attendees were encouraged to go from room-to-room, interact with salespeople and engineers, have a seat and casually listen. Many bring their own iPods, discs or vinyl records, as most exhibitors are happy to play one or two favorite songs as a demonstration of sound quality. A variety of equipment is demonstrated, ranging from affordable audio systems to ultra-expensive high-end gear.

RMAF also featured excellent live entertainment, very informative seminars, plus equipment show specials and prize drawings throughout the weekend! Find virtually everything you're looking for, and a whole lot more, of audio gear you may have never known existed!

Take in the friendly atmosphere at RMAF where all are welcome and questions are encouraged. You will experience in one location all the major household audio brands from Sony to McIntosh to Martin Logan. Have your eyes but mostly your EARS opened to a host of established, superior-quality "audiophile" companies such as Wilson, Cardas and Jeff Rowland Design Group, Inc. that you won't find in most retail stores.

RMAF provides a lively atmosphere of interactive experiences that ranges from engaging with industry engineers, owners and salespeople to live entertainment and formal seminars on a variety of current topics and trends in the audio industry. Many companies present their world-wide debut of new products and additionally offer special discounted show-prices on selected equipment.

When you arrive in Denver, go to the Denver Marriott Tech Center and get oriented by visiting the Colorado Audio Society at the registration desk. Volunteers will explain and give guided tours of the event's complexes and lively layout – including the several floors of demo rooms and displays.
