How To Properly Place Speakers Within Your Listening Room

  In this episode Bill walks you through the process of properly placing speakers in your listening room. Bill gets into a step-by-step process that was developed 26 years ago and followed within all his high-end audio system setups. His setups are proven successes through rave show reports, multiple show awards, glowing reviews about the GTT showrooms, and the overall sound achieved by any GTT setup room.

Within the video, Bill gives a brief description of speaker placement in audio listening rooms. He does not believe in formulas that try to predict exactly where the speakers should be placed by room dimensions. He argues that there are too many unknowns to be able to predict exact placement such as room furnishings, floor and wall coverings, ceiling soffits, and other unknown anomalies within the room.

It is acknowledged that there are compromises in placement within some rooms and gives tips on what type of speakers work best within the compromises. Then he goes on to describe exactly how to get your speakers into a tight window and then dial them in from there with listening. Furthermore, how-to listen is described.
