Florida International Audio Expo 2024 Show Report By Steven R. Rochlin

  Virually everyone within the industry knows Wynn Wong. Always a good word, a smile, plus Wynn is extremely passionate about music. On a personal note, he's also into horology (that means timepieces, or for your Floridians out there, wristwatches). Am a proud member of the NAWCC and AHCI too, and if you happen to be into horology go check them out and join. So where were we? Oh yeah, the fun-filled Tampa show.

Based in Canada, Wynn Audio is both a retailer and an outstanding distributor. Founded in 2011 by Wynn Wong, his love for music and audio... and being both a retailer and distributor since 2011 proves he is truly 'one of us'. Have a look at the brands here and you'll see this is not your typical one-and-done kinda music lovers. The gear within his FIAE 2024 exhibition room includes gear made in Germany, Serbia, France, Spain, Sweden, and the USA. Wynn takes time to seek out great gear, you know, like we all do.

If you've ever invested (not spent, invested) time chatting with Wynn you'll see what I mean about his deep passion and care. Ok, ok, enough about Wynn and his company, how did their stereo sound system sound? But first, here's a gear list:

As a writer, you can tell when I'm happy and my writing shows it. Must be that the great-sounding rooms and great gentlemen make sharing my love of music a joy. And that's what Wynn does too. So together, he and I, in the same room with audio, or fine mechanical wristwatches... oh yeah, these are what happy memories are made of. But you want to know how the stereo system sounded, right? You know, the highs, the deep bass, the imaging, all that stuff and keywords and cliché things you've already read many, many times. Hey, Enjoy the Music.com is equally as guilty as the other sites and magazines, I know. Are you starting to get the feeling I'm not going to tell you how it sounded?
