A tweak here, an improvement there....

  Oh... my... goodness! There were so many diverse bits of gear and tweaks within the Synergistic Research room at the Florida Audio Expo 2020 that I'm not sure where to begin! Ted Denny was running a wonderful A/B comparo where you could hear the gains within a system made by using their products. A tweak here, another one there and it really all adds up to musical delights!

Enjoy the Music.com's very own Rick Becker loves their products, and highly recommends / uses their Orange Fuses and Foundation Cables (see Rick's Foundation cables review here, with Orange Fuses used within this month's review of AGD's amplifier here). Part of me feels at a loss as you can go from wall power outlet to in-room tweaks and all-in-between with their tweaks. Best bet, try the products you desire, especially wall outlets and fuses, and then perhaps the grounding, and wherever else you feel could use some improvement.

Digital front end was the impressive MSB Premier DAC w Fento 33 clock mated with the Baetis Reference 2. Analog duties were an Acoustic Signature Thunder w/SoundSmith Hyperion phono cartridge, Constellation Andromedia Phonostage, and a nod to tapeheads with the Sonorus ATR reel-to-reel tape deck. Amps were Constellation Pictor preamp feeding the Constellation Taurus stereo amplifier. All this was put to great use driving Rockport's Atria II.

Tons of power conditioning tweaks, naturally, such as the new Synergistic Research PowerCell SX, UEF Orange Duplex, and their UEF Carbon Fiber Duplex Cover. I could go on and on, yet look at their room gear list below for all the details and pricing. Bottom line, once again Synergistic Research proves time and again during a show A/B test that their tweaks work effectively and are a must-have to achieve the very best from you high-end audio system.
