The unique shape of the patented Gingko Audio ARCH Acoustic Resonance Clarifier ($169 to $499) and its material construction make it an effective vibration control base for speakers and heavy audio components. The unique shape of the patented ARCH Acoustic Resonance Clarifier and its material construction make it an effective vibration control base for speakers and audio components. Read about the ARCH Technology and how it works. For a more detailed explanation of why it performs better than conventional speaker spikes, read the white paper on their website.

Constrained-Layer Construction with Inert Material
The ARCH is constructed from a lossy material that dissipates vibration across the audio frequency spectrum. The many layers of soft and hard maple in the Equipment / Speaker ARCHs, and wood veneer and resin in the Mini-ARCHs are designed to provide the proper optimal loading weight under speakers and audio components. They offer four versions of Equipment/Speaker ARCHs to support from 15 lbs. to 100 lbs. each. The Mini-ARCHs support 5 lbs. each.

Unique Curved Shape
The ARCH design is a curved shape with two ends that rest on the floor or rack surface at an angle, thus minimizing transferred energy from the cabinet to the ground. In addition, the ARCH flexes under the weight of the speaker as the latter vibrates, further reducing the transferred energy.

ARCH Finishes
The Equipment/Speaker ARCHs are finished in black. The Mini-ARCHs are in natural wood finish. Both are seal-coated in polyurethane for more moisture resistance.

You may experiment with a rubber coating compound like Flex-Seal or rubber shrink-tubing. However, our experience is that the rubber coating has the opposite effect of paint or polyurethane, making the sound less bright. In some brighter-sounding systems, this may work well.
