Tributaries Series 6 High-End AC Power Cable
Tributaries Series 6 IEC High-End AC Power CableTributaries is showcasing their new Series 6 high-end AC power cable ($100 for 3 foot length, other lengths available), Engineered exclusively for Tributaries by celebrated cable designer Jay Victor, the Series 6 model 6P cables is said to provide superior audio and video performance to electronic devices. Engineered with 14 gauge OFHC copper conductors, the Series 6P power cables won't starve power amplifiers of current. These cables are designed primarily for low frequency signals of 50/60Hz with conductor size and gauge combinations specific for this purpose. PVC dielectric materials were chosen to isolate vibration caused by alternating current from entering the signal path.

Propriety winding techniques and triple shielding ensure low noise transfer. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) dielectrics isolate vibration from alternating current from entering the signal path. Double sided aluminum wrap plus heavy braided shielding keeps RFI/EMI interference at bay. On the outside, a beautiful decorative woven jacket surround the inner rugged black PVC jacket. The electrical rating is 15 Ampere at 125 Volts and the Tributaries 6P cable is UL CL2 rated.

"For power cables, noise rejection is critical, and our Series 6 power cables rely on proprietary winding techniques and triple shielding to limit EMI egress and ingress thus ensuring the lowest noise floor for sensitive source components," said Joe Perfito, President of Tributaries. "We strongly encourage dealers to include the Series 6 Power Cord as a regular add-on—hearing is believing, and we guarantee it provides an audible improvement."

The Tributaries 6P cables are available in two versions; a 3-pole version, 6P-IEC for preamplifiers and power amplifiers and the 2-pole version 6P-C7 for Blu-ray / DVD / CD players and set-top boxes.
