Part 5 — Lower Level, And Left
(Outremont / St. Laurent Rooms)
At The Montreal Audiofest 2026 Show
These women at the Sennheiser booth were keeping a close eye on folks trying out Sennheiser headphones at the comfortable listening stations along the wall, below.
The kids at the right seemed to be enjoying their expensive headphones.
Colorful headphones seem to be a thing these days.
I recall this nice display from the Toronto show last fall.
Plenty of crates of LPs were available to browse. This table was well sorted out.
The esoteric LPs offered at shows make my collection seem dreadfully pedestrian.
HiFiMan headphones are fairly commonplace, but in the next booth was AI-assisted EQ tuning from Luxin Audio, which I should have investigated.
Yet another extensive headphone booth.
John and Richard Grado came up to Montreal from Brooklyn, where they make their famous headphones and a new series of phono cartridges, which offer very good bang for the buck, I'm told. I've been using very affordable Grado headphones for my Zoom classes and YouTube indulgence for decades now, along with a Clarus Coda USB DAC/amp, and I'm happy as a clam.
