LAAS 2017 High-End Audio Show Report

  The popular mainstream loudspeaker manufacturer Wilson Audio were joined by T+A electronics, Brinkmann Audio turntable, and HRS; with music via MQA. To my ears it sounded sounded super accurate and ultra precise. If you love high-precision this could the system for you.

Heard this pairing at AXPONA 2017 and once again the combo of Merrill Audio electronics mated to German Physik speakers sounds like a winner! Here's the system breakdown at LAAS 2017:

Gotta give big love to VPI for their astonishing radiant Avenger Reference turntable ($20,000) seen here with their Kevlar-wrapped "Fatboy" 12" 3D printed tonearm ($1500). With vinyl, the Lyra Delos ($1995) gave great sound! Overall, the system produced one of the best 3D soundscapes at LAAS. Musical, with an abundance of delicious detail too!
