Gershman Acoustics 30th Anniversary Celebration At FLAX 2023
Superb special floorstanding speakers are a feast for my ears.

  With a great following on social media, Ofra Gershman and her husband Eli are the celebrated couple at whatever event they exhibit. Of course we're here at the Florida International Audio Expo to hear their loudspeakers. This year at FLAX 2023, Gershman Acoustics brought their very special 30th Anniversary Grande Avant Garde floorstanding speakers. While photos can be deceptive, these speakers stand a mere 39" high yet deliver big sound that far exceeds their relatively compact size.

My listening note come right out and say that the sound is far 'larger' than expected. While that may sound a bit vague, what I really mean to say is that for floorstanding speakers that are a mere 39" high, they produce a sound that usually takes a far larger design. Year after year, show after show, the Gershman Acoustics exhibit rooms have always been true to the music. Harmonious highs and accurate midrange all seamlessly mate with the overall sound spectrum. A well-focused musical experience that always brings accurate soundscaping that extends far beyond speaker placement.

VAC vacuum tube gear is long-known for excellence, so this one-two combination was a clear winner of my Best Of FLAX 2023 Award. While i could easily go on and on about VAC gear, odds are if you're reading this then you already know the joys of vacuum tube amplification at the very highest level of quality.
