740 Fourier Sound And Buckeye Amplifiers
This room was pretty full when I visited, and since others
have covered it already, I'll make just a few observations. As Einstein might
have said: "It can scarcely be denied that the supreme goal of all
theory is to make the irreducible basic elements as simple and as few as
possible without having to surrender the adequate representation of a single
datum of experience."

I noticed the vertical array of AMT drivers along with the
vertically firing woofers. You're going to need a lot of Swiffers of varying
configurations to keep these speakers clean unless the cones can shake
themselves clean with deep bass. The rack is full of power amps. You're going to
need a lot of interconnects and speaker cables. The cables shown here were
bundled with Zip ties. Not able to get a good seat, or learn if that was even
necessary with this design, I moved on to the next room. Given the company's
name, they obviously had Fourier's theory behind this to justify the amount of
work it took to build them. I hope they achieve their desired results.

745 Theoretica Applied Physics
Dr. Edgar Choueiri brought the new BACCH-DrC2
ultimate desktop immersive audio system to AXPONA 2025. As was typical, he was in
deep conversation with another visitor, so I didn't get the inside scoop. The
website suggests it creates 3D imagery as well as holographic immersivephile
sound quality, but the
screen was on pause. The black box under the table was a stereo,
single-enclosure subwoofer with a built-in DAC and Class D amplifier.
Dr. Dragoslav Colich (aka "Dr. C"), co-founder
and CTO of Sony-owned Audeze planar magnetic headphones, has collaborated with Dr. Choueiri on this
state-of-the-art desktop system. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to sit in the
sweet spot at Capital Audiofest this fall.

That
completes the 7th Floor, which means I'm halfway through the show at this point.
In case you're wondering, there were no exhibits on the 8th through 10th floors.
In Part 6, on the 6th Floor, the rooms will be on the perimeter of the open
atrium that extends down to the 2nd Floor. There's lots more to come! Hope you're
enjoying the ride.
