  Welcome to our Clube do Áudio e Vídeo Hi-Fi 2001 shows in São Paulo, Brazil! Like other shows around the world, this show is conducted by a major publication within the country. Here in Brazil Clube do Áudio e Vídeo magazine features many wonderful articles concerning both stereo hi-fi and home theater plus live and recorded music and movies. The Clube do Áudio e Vídeo Hi-Fi 2001 show is held at the Centro de Exposições da Câmara Americana de Comércio from August, 3^rd through the 5^th, 2001 in São Paulo, Brazil. The exposition area is approximately 2,800 sq. meters divided in to 45 rooms of differently sizes. Unlike many shows where lackluster hotel rooms are used, the rooms at this show are purpose-built and offer good sound and high acoustic isolation to achieve a low noise floor. During the event approximately 7,000 enthusiastic people will see many top quality audio and video products. As a side note for those of us who closely follow the highest achievement in automobile racing, São Paulo was also the home of round three of the 2001 Formula 1 race at Interlagos. A race length totaling just over 190 miles consisting of 71 laps around the track.

Brazil is one of the world's major hot spots for Internet usage with a population of over 169 million well educated people. Local time is GMT-3 with the local spoken language being Portuguese. According to a few sources, São Paulo is considered "the world’s fastest growing city" and is the major financial and business center of Brazil, responsible for half of Brazil's GDP.

Please Take Note: the rooms at this show were designed for music. This allowed for the best overall sounding show than the usual hotel shows found in most parts of the world.
