Looking for something kinda FUNky, then step on up to the Gradient speakers. The front end of this system is the Amarra, which works with Apple's iTunes to allow for higher resolution sampling rate music files... like the 24/96 drum & test album THTST. With so many audiophiles now enjoying music from their computers, many more manufacturers are making DACs with USB input.

Another set of cool speakers are the Evolution Acoustics MM2 ($35,000) as they were driven by the Dartzeel NHB-458 monoblocks ($135,000), which is a special order item. Power filtering is by Audience.

In the Sibatech room they have many Japanese ultra-high fidelity brands including ViV Laboratory sensually sculpted speakers, MLC speakers featuring the Feastrex 5-inch fullrange driver plus electronics by Abis and Mactone. Very nice sound from this room by the way.

Audio Note Japan had the Souga 2A3 stereo amplifier (¥4,500,000... price is quoted in Japanese Yen due to the unstable US dollar) is a replacement to the Nero, as this uses all silver from input to output including handmade silver foil capacitors versus copper that was in the Nero.

Antique Sound Labs had their Passive T2M DT ($1200) is an autoformer/switch volume control device. The wire is continual cast 5N pure copper that is Teflon coated. The autoformer is silver wired.

NFS room... basically some guys who just come to THE Show with their system and hang out and drink while enjoying music. Last time i hung out with these guys at night it was, well... at this point i should say nothing else so as to avoid self incrimination ;-)
