CANADA HiFi Exciting Evolutionary Step Forward
Editorial By Suave Kajko
Spring is in the air and I'm ecstatic to announce that CANADA HiFi is about to make a very exciting evolutionary step forward - something that has been a vision for the last couple of years. This fall, our publication will begin to offer an expanded amount of technology content in every issue, while improving the delivery of existing HiFi and home theater topics. To celebrate this new direction, the magazine will receive a fresh new look and a shiny new name. I hope that you will be pleasantly surprised and entertained by what you'll see!
Starting this fall, two new feature articles will be added to every edition of the magazine, focusing on the latest technology and consumer electronics trends such as virtual reality, gaming, 3D printing, tech toys, smart home devices, and even personal transportation devices and electric vehicles. In other words, our enhanced magazine will offer the same topics now covered by the expanded TAVES Consumer Electronics Show.
If you're a regular reader of CANADA HiFi - don't worry- our publication will continue to offer the same great hifi and home theater content as we always have but in a new, improved format. After all, every one of us that contributes to this magazine is an audio video enthusiast at heart.
While I'm not at liberty to reveal the new name of the magazine just yet, this issue does offer a sample of the new content that you will now see in every edition. Flip to page 8 to get a taste of this new content in a feature entitled "20 Innovative Technology and Tech
Toys" written by Ted Kritsonis, a seasoned technology writer and new contributor to our team. Welcome aboard Ted - we're delighted for you to join us!
I can't tell you just how thrilled we are about the "new and improved" magazine scheduled to arrive this fall!
In the meantime I hope you enjoy the spring weather and the articles inside this issue. As the mercury rises in your thermometer, I also encourage you to get out on the town and visit your local record shop - I know that's something I'll certainly be doing.
Wishing you a great spring!
