The AES had a special booth that
many of you wanted to be covered. Specifically, "When Vinyl Ruled"
was a room with many dedicated professionals who freely donated their time and
efforts into the remembrance of vinyl and audio's past.

Horn fans unite as at the TAD booth are many products including this over seven foot high beast. TAD, part of Pioneer (competition to Fostex). TSC3415 ($8,995) is comprised of four 15" TL-1603 LF woofers, one TD-4002Z compression mid and a TD-4002Z for high frequency duties. Frequency response is claimed as 35Hz to 20kHz with about 105db/w/m average sensitivity. With a power handling of 1,200 watts total a guess of around 130dB full output.
