AXPONA 2018 Show Report -- Audio Expo North America

Bryston's 24B Six Channel Bridgeable Solid-State Amplifier

At AXPONA 2018 within room 496, Bryston will be introducing their new 24B six channel amplifier. This unit is specially crafted to provide superb power for your Bryston Mini or Middle T Active System or it can be used for other multi-channel applications. The 24B delivers two channels @ 300 Watt into 8 Ohms and four channels @ 75 Watt into 8 Ohms all from a single, elegant chassis. Designed to produce clarity and detail, cubed series amplifiers significantly reduce noise and distortion. Professional grade components and construction are combined to create a superior product for the discerning audiophile.

Fully active loudspeaker systems dispense with passive crossovers found in conventional loudspeakers, in favor of inserting the crossovers before the amplifier. Benefits include increased flexibility of filter shapes, the ability to make fine-grained adjustments resulting in improved on and off axis response (these are often competing objectives in passive loudspeakers), direct coupling of the amplifier to the driver (avoiding losses inherent in passive crossovers), and higher SLP with lower distortion. Bryston Active Loudspeaker Systems combine decades of research in acoustics, electronics, amplification, and state of the art components to recreate your recordings with stunning realism.

Features Of Bryston's 24B Include:
XLR balanced and RCA single ended audio inputs
Selectable gain at 23 or 29dB
No fans or other moving parts
Regulated power supplies to all voltage gain stages
Convection cooled and housed in a fully aluminum chassis
