  Odyssey line Kismet MM/MC phonostage ($2500) uses tube and a 9 Volt battery to aid in the amplification stage. Four 12AX7 tubes are also part of this design.

In the alternative Audio room was the ever-glorious Linn Sondek turntable. Linnies unite!

 

Of course the counterpart to Linn is Naim, whose audio also comes in the prestigious Bentley automobile.

 

Schröder had a prototype of their upcoming Artemis Labs 9.4-inch tonearm ($3900) that features a Kingwood arm wand, ceramic hybrid bearing and other tricks.

 

Wavelength Audio had their excellent tube amplifiers and tube DAC mated them with the Vaughn ribbon tweeter loudspeakers.

 

Audio by Van Alstine had their 30 wpc stereo Ultravalve tube amplifier ($1695) that have a pair of Harmonix EL34 output tubes and Sovtek 5AR4.

 

Ah yes, the romantic glow of tubes! Win Analog had a pair of stunning monoblocks and their stereo unit.
