  Loudspeaker manufacturer Crevasse (€20,000) had their horn loaded ribbon unit mated to a two 10-inch cone drivers for lower frequency support. Sensitivity is a lowish 88dB/W/m at 4 ohms and crossover frequency is 290Hz.

 

Germany's WBT had two rooms showcasing their products including their Signature (platinum) loudspeaker binding posts as seen here.

 

In the Quad room was their new Electrostat LE2 (€6,500) loudspeaker made in Germany. They are very similar to the original 63, though in a different frame made of aluminum and steel according top the Quad representitive.

 

Denon's DVD-A1 digital disc unit plays both DVD-Audio and Video, CD, CD-R/RW, HDCD, MP3, Video is decoded by a 14-bit/108MHz chip and the unit decodes DTS and Dolby Digital.

 

Octave's EL34 based integrated stereo amplifier has a pair of EL34 tubes per channel to produce 40 watts. The electronic display provides confirmation in choosing one of the four inputs and tape loop.

 

Audion's new Elite monoblock amplifier (€5,500) takes advantage of an 845 output tube to produce 25 watts. Power supply for the unit is in a separate enclosure and can support two monoblock units. The main amplifier chassis also has two E88CC for driver and a two E182CC for input duties. Audion were also featuring their new Quattro (€7,620) monoblock pre-amplifier (!) with four line and one MC phono inputs while a pair of outputs support bi-amplification. Each channel has either the 6922 tube (for Europe) or E88CC (for the USA and Asia market).
