Portable Music Player Shopping Guide And Smart TVs
Editorial By Suave Kajko
Hello and welcome to the holiday edition of the
CANADA HiFi magazine! Our annual gift guide makes this the funnest issue of the year for George de Sa and I to work on - and we hope that enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed putting it together. You'll find a great spread
of hi-fi and home theatre items on our list, ranging from a device that can turn any
TV into a "smart TV" all the way up to fantastic amplifiers, speakers and more. The guide is sure to put you in the holiday spirit!
We are equally as excited to feature CANADA HiFi's first portable music player shopping guide in this issue, written by Frank Labonte. This guide will not only teach you how to select a portable music player, it also contains a great number of players that would make a fantastic holiday gift for the music lover on your list. Think of it as "part 2" of our holiday gift guide.
Aside from gifts, the holidays are of course a wonderful opportunity to spend time with your family and friends, listen to music and catch up on your favourite movies and
TV series. I, for one, can't wait to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens at the movies, and catch up on some gaming this holiday season.
I'm delighted to announce that during the holiday break, George and I will also be working on a new, enhanced path for
CANADA HiFi which should make the magazine more entertaining to read than ever before. In the first half of 2016, our publication will be refreshed under a new name and offer expanded content in every issue. If you're a regular reader - don't worry - the core of our publication will remain true to its home audio and video roots. However the expanded content will open your mind to other related topics and should introduce many other readers to the wonderful world
of hi-fi and home theatre. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to work on this project!
On behalf of the CANADA HiFi team - I wish you the warmest holidays and a happy new year! See you in early 2016! In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this issue.
