Pierre Etienne Leon had their piano black Quaris (€2,550) and Quattro S.E. (€1,800) with very different driver configurations. The Quaris has a Vifa and ScanSpeak while the Quattro S.E. has Seas drivers. Both models are only 89dB/W/m sensitive and present around a 5-ohm load.

Furutech cables also found their way from Japan to here in Brussels.

Of course live, acoustic music could also be enjoyed during the show.

IsoTek specializes in power filtration devices. Seen here is their Titan (€2,495) that provides filtration, but not balanced power. Perhaps a bit expensive for a non-balanced unit.

Nordost cables abound!

Marantz's Premium Series includes the SA-11S1 SACD player (€3,000) and PM-11S1 stereo integrated amplifier (€3,500). As the top line of the company, it features the very best in power supply, digital circuitry in the case of the digital di9sc player, and the amplifier produces 100 watts per channel plus has an MM/MC phonostage.

Behold had their large stereo amplifier with 768kHz/2-bit digital signal processing driving the Ascendo loudspeakers. The amplifier produces two channels with 600 watts each (!) in to a 4-ohm load. Power conditioning and Synchron switching power supply are built in.

Shanling's new STP-80 stereo tube integrated amplifier (€2,698) employs a pair of EL34 per channel to produce 35 watts a side. Four inputs and a single output allow for bi-amplification or simple preamplification duties to operate an outboard amplifier. See our review of their top line CD player by clicking here.
