Steve Remmert
Wicked Spell

Although Steve Remmert's "day job" is being a Realtor, this album proves he's as talented a songwriter as any full-time Nashville pro. Joined by stellar players including Darol Anger on fiddle and Sally Van Meter on dobro, Remmert's spirited mandolin and strong vocals lead his group through ten great new bluegrass songs.

Eva Scow and Dusty Brough
Sharon by the Sea

This acoustic jazz group lead by Eva Scow on mandolin and Dusty Brough on guitar creates intimate music that draws you in like the smell of a perfect cup of coffee on a sunny summer morning. All eleven of the original tunes on Sharon By the Sea feature lyrical yet rhythmically complex melodies with innovative solos.

Sound:

Audie Blaylock
Audie Blaylock And Redline

Although recorded in 2008, Audie Blaylock and Redline sound like they came straight from the 1960's, unpolluted by the newgrass and acoustic fusion trends of the last forty years. They make rip-roaring balls-to-the-walls bluegrass with no apologies for their testosterone fuelled in-your-face presentation. This is your father's bluegrass, served up piping hot.

Enjoyment:

Sound:

Mathew Montfort
Seven Serenades For Scalloped Fretboard Guitar

Although he plays guitar, Mathew Montfort's music isn't merely guitar music; it's a sonic environment that features a guitar. Strong Indian and Balinese influences permeate these seven exotic soundscapes. Beautifully recorded, this sumptuous music creates a unique wall of sound that you won't soon forget.
