Ultimate Soundophile Diffusers
Better Sound And Even Better Aesthetics!

Any self-proclaimed audiophile
worth their salt knows the most important part of their music reproduction
system is the crucial loudspeaker-to-room interface. Add to that the popularity
of certain types of cable support devices as seen in print advertisements and
audiophiles have quickly realized they need to get this must-have accessory!
Many of those who have auditioned the Ultimate Soundophile special acoustic
devices have found them extremely satisfying to the point of elation. While the
price can be quite high, those lucky individuals truly seeking to achieve
the very best will usually have at least one. On the other hand there
appears to be the odd audiophile who desires two (or more)! So what are these
amazing diffuser devices?
Multi-Angle Visual Pleasing
Design
If there is one thing that can quickly impair your sound room's
visual beauty, it is in adding various room acoustic treatments. Virtually every
room can benefit from such devices, so the brilliant designers at Ultimate
Soundophile have come up with a classic, pleasing to the eye solution. After
years of experimentation they decided that the principle of "double
bubble" was best. It is a more "organic" design that is free
standing, versus the usual wall-mounted fare. After quite a few phone calls
Ultimate Soundophile decided to send me one, and if it worked out they would
follow by sending three more of their revolutionary diffusers.
Seen above is what arrived. Note the dual curved and stand. Ultimate Soundophile claims this special design was achieve through both CAD and long, hard tests. They make another version for clients with systems that need different visuals (seen below).
The point here is that a version is available to best suit the client's needs. During my review i have been in contact with other users and while i have tried this personally, have seen the Ultimate Soundophile in various print ads as, of all things, cable support devices! While quite expensive, am sure a quartet of either device may provide the goal some audiophiles desire.
The result, within my listening room with my reproduction system, is that a pair of these devices was best. A quartet of them was a bit overkill. In fact it was as though some "clashing" phenomenon come about. A pair was just right. Carefully placing one near each loudspeaker (as seen in Granite Rocker's advertisement) truly transformed the enjoyment of my system. The folks at Ultimate Soundophile appear to have struck virtual gold, as these organic designs are pleasing in many ways and truly enhanced my listening pleasures.
