Terminal clamps are solid brass and for excellent conductivity and wire holding strength. The solid brass terminal screws are #8 size to assure trouble free, efficient installation. TRIPLE-LAYER CONTACTS The contacts in the WattGate 380 are OFC copper alloy, in a Triple-Wipe. This design allows the plug blade to be gripped at three separate points. Maximum conductivity is achieved this way. Not only is the triple-wipe design a superior conductor, but the contacts are extremely heavy-duty and possess a high spring rate to ensure maximum clamping power. This ensures positive contact, time after time.
