I toil away each day fine-tuning the Enjoy the
Music.com website while enjoying music. Most of you internet old timers know me,
though for those of you that are not familiar with my accomplishments...
Became a music lover at the age of five when my dad brought me to a live performance of 1812 (with live blasting caps substituting for cannons). Began playing music at the ripe ol' age of nine and was classically trained in snare drum, bells, tympani, xylophone, and later the complete drum set. My first "day job" was with longstanding and well respected electronics company Heathkit where my duties were diverse. Helping build kits and maintaining their BBS system were among my duties. i began the Enjoy the Music.com website in 1995 after accomplishing well over thirteen years experience in electronics retail.
During the 1996 WCES, i was a panel member of the very first CES workshop dealing with internet issues. My other accomplishments include being a longstanding member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (N.A.R.A.S., better known for their Grammy Awards), having a Masters Degree from the Academy Advancing High Performance Audio & Video (AAHPAV), a Member of the Consumer Electronics Association Citizen Action Network (CEA CAN), an International Auto Sound Challenge Association (IASCA) judge, webmaster, consultant, and an independent photojournalist whose photographs and writings appear in many publications while also being a supporter of the Music Cares Foundation who assist those musicians in need of assistance due to chemical addictions, financial or medical needs.
All types of music are enjoyable to my ears as a classically trained musician. This includes various forms of jazz, classical, progressive and rock music.
In 2007 have decided to race a Van Diemen (1999 chassis) Formula 2000 open wheel winged car. Having just finished my rookie year, it brings me joy to report having earned 2nd place in drivers point championship within SCCA's NER and NARRC region. During my last event with an organization called COMSCC i missed earning the club's track record since it's inception for fastest lap at NHIS by a mere 0.6 seconds, held by a driver with over 40 years experience behind the wheel tracking cars.
